Snowball is now operating a hospital care room along with a chicken nursery. One of the twin hens hurt her foot and I didn’t want her outside where a predator could possibly catch her. But, being a twin, her sister does not want to be separated from her so now they are both inside.
Snowball is thinking hard about this, he said he may be dressed in white but he ain’t no male nurse.  Of course he had raised these two from the day they were hatched so he is doing the fatherly thing and protecting them.

The Yellow Hen says she can use the company while she sets on her eggs waiting fo the hatching day in a week or so.

Of course The Healthy Sis out of these twins wants to check out everything including the new baby chicks. Now I have to wait to see how the injured foot heals and how long it will take. In the meantime Snowball and I will just play Doctor and Nurse along with babysitting.

Snowball is a white rabbit that first moved into Green Acres about two years ago and when a snake killed his rabbit family he moved inside the house where he became a couch potato watching a lot of TV.

Then when the little Momma Banty Hen was having a domestic squabble with her husband “Roho” the rooster, Snowball allowed her to come inside with him for a safe home.

Of course “Momma” forgot to tell Snowball that she also had three young daughters that would be moving in also. (Typical of women to keep a few secrets you know)

Then as an added surprise, “Momma” has done gone and added to her family.

Of course Snowball, being the rabbit he is, continues to share his home with this extended family he is accumulating.

Snowball just has one huge question, “Rabbits usually are the one that people expect to multiply so why does Momma Hen keep multiplying faster than him?”
Every Dad needs someone to give him a back massage so Snowball is teaching his foster kids the proper techniques of Back Therapy in hopes that they will earn many carrots for him.

The Love Shack has opened his new Equine Beauty Shop and for his first customer he chose Cheyenne.  She had a need to get rid of tangles in her mane and cleaning to do on her back. Shack did a great job on her.

Then the Love Shack is doing so well he has tried to talk his friend Stacy into letting him work on her hair.

Stacy explained to the Shack that she has to have permission of the “Murph” and that she would rather Murph be his first human customer.

Then because of a snake getting hold of “Snowflake” and the two baby rabbits, “Snowball” has moved inside where he has his TV and AC to stay comfortable.

Of course now the chickens with the supervision of RoHo the Rooster just keep enjoying the great living at Green Acres

Herbie and Ogelita ignore the rain and mud while they take their great pleasure in eating.

Now I will go get new batteries for my camera and post more pictures of the animals of Green Acres in the next update.

If at least one of these pictures does not make you smile, then you are grumpy and need to go back to  bed.

Snowball was at the feed stoe being sold along with her bothers and sisters for people to raise and eat. I decided to buy them and bring them home. I have plenty of room for them so it is no problem for me.
My first cage was not the best and they got out. I could catch all except Snowball. She is fast.
This land is all trees with all kinds of animals including owls, racoons, and predators that might eat her.
I named her Snowball because I didn’t think she had a snowballs chance in hell of making it a week.
I built a new cage for them and she now spends her time next to the cage and eats her meals with the others, she just won’t go for the cage idea.
